Let Me Introduce Myself…
My journey...
Hi, I’m Kim and I’m a remote worker who struggled A LOT with not taking good care of myself within the lifestyle:
– I didn’t go out enough
– I didn’t set boundaries with clients
– I didn’t have a daily structure that supported MY rhythms
– I didn’t feel connected
I absolutely LOVED the flexibility, remote work offered me – but I was STRUGGLING!
As a professionally trained and practicing High Vibe Yoga teacher, I naturally took to Hatha Yoga and gentle movement to support me. That helped…for some time…but I kept dropping the daily habit, and still not making my well-being a priority.
“There must be something else to this”, I thought.
So I dove in head first!
It took a few more years of studying and experimenting with different modalities and structures to help me create and live a remote work-life that felt GREAT.
During this time I studied remote work well-being academically as well as Instinctive Meditation™ taught by Dr. Lorin Roche and Camille Maurine in an experiential year-long training. This training demystified meditation and I learned about a meditation approach specifically designed for people with busy lives.
It changed the way I experience everyday life thoroughly.
I also am very grateful to the practice of Holistic Pulsing, a bodywork practice designed to access deep self-healing and balance in connection with coaching principles. The year-long practitioner training I did in Holistic Inner Child Pulsing deeply impacts the way I teach and guide my sessions and courses.
This holistic approach of academic study and experiential training is the basis for everything I do now.
To come back to the now, in addition to my work break YouTube channel, I have given live trainings at business and leisure retreats internationally. For two years I have been providing relaxing self-care sessions, yoga classes, and Holistic Pulsing services helping successful remote workers to let go and recharge. Additionally, I have partnered up with a Virtual Reality company to offer VR supported meditations!
So exciting. Pure immersion – I tell ‘ya!
I am passionate about helping the busy (re-)connect through a practice that prioritizes kindness to oneself and can be woven into individual circumstances. The practices I teach foster productivity, reflection, relaxation, and increase well-being through long-term habit building. “Self-Care for Remote Workers” represents my commitment to making regular self-care accessible to all, everywhere.
Kim is our resident relaxation expert in my paid student community and does regular yoga, meditation and pulsing workshops for all to enjoy. She also facilitated her practices at my in-person retreat in Marrakech last year and everybody loved it! I personally get a lot of grounding and peace from the sessions and the feedback from my students echoes this. Kim knows her stuff and brings understanding, flexibility and a calm presence to any group or solo session. Thanks Kim!
